This was such an adorable art print. I have a guest bathroom that has similar colors and uses this  modern bird theme. I still had some wall space to cover so I decided to order this print, order a black Target frame and put it up in our bathroom! It's such a happy, super cute wall art for our bathroom!

Project #2: ABC Scripture Cards

I love anything that helps kids to learn the Bible. When I saw this idea, I knew I should try it. I figure we can use it to learn one scripture a week. So I printed the cards out on cardstock, cut them out, laminated them, cut them out again, and finally, attached them to a large ring. We've already learned the first verse that goes with letter A!

The kid's bathroom is decorated in a fun beachy theme. We don't have anything on the walls yet and I saw this idea for the handprint lobster. So I had Jake make it:

Then, I ended up having the other kids make some creatures from the sea as well.

Now, I just want to have them framed and put them on the bathroom walls to decorate it in there.

Pinning Away

It all started when I began pinning! There was this idea and that idea. Before I knew it, I'd pinned many ideas, quotes, recipes, and pictures of outfits to an extreme. I knew I needed to do something with all the pinning. Why pin if I'm not going to re-create? So I took matters in to my own hands and decided to try doing at least one idea a week. We'll see if this continues the whole year through. The ideas don't always have to be difficult things. It could be a picture idea I pinned, a recipe I made, or children's craft. So this is where I am at and here are the first few "pinnings" that I re-created. It's been fun so far. I'm excited to see how many of those pinnings actually inspire me to do something.
